Hello, my name is Josh and I am a second-year History student. This year will be my second year of having a position on the committee, having the role of President of the History Society for this Academic year. In my first year, I was the Fresher’s representative. It is my job to make sure that the society runs smoothly and to ensure, we as a society, deliver the best possible experiences for you whether it be
academic, social or both! We look forward

I’m Carlie Andrews, and I'm the Academic Officer for the Swansea University History Society and also the College of Arts and Humanities Undergraduate Representative. My role within the Committee is to make sure that you gain Academic skills and knowledge from our Academic workshops, academic skill sessions, talks and trips! I have been on the committee for three years, starting at Fresher's rep in my first year and Communications officer in my second. So, I have a lot of experience in organising the committee. I enjoy many other activities such as kickboxing. I like to study Medical, Sexual and Social History with my favourite historical period being the Georgian era.

Hello!
My name is Tyler; I am a second- history student and the Treasurer of the History Society at Swansea University. My job is to maintain the finance of the society and to make sure we have enough funds to spend on fantastic socials, trips and events! Fortunately, this year we have been granted major sponsorships to ensure we are starting the year with a substantial sum of money, and so this will allow us to provide you with freebies, the best events and socials and enable us to many amazing society based activities. This year we have been sponsored by Invasion to organise a trip to Rome for five days (7^th -12^th of April 2017) in the Easter holidays which is very affordable at only £289! I look forward to this year and the plans we have for the society; I also look forward to meeting the upcoming Freshers!

Hi, I’m Elijah Faria and a second-year Ancient History Student. I am your Social Sec for the History Society this year - which means I’m in charge of our brilliant upcoming events like the Beer Olympics, Ice Breaker and many more amazing socials! Approachable, chatty and possibly mad on Rugby – I’ll be here if you need help with work, advice or just some on point banter!
